Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Contest

This contest organized by Samsung, is for nationwide public schools from grades 6th to 12th. It challenges teachers & kids to apply STEM driven ideas to solve local problems and improve their local communities.

You can participate in the contest during the fall of every and a teacher submits the application. Samsung selects 250 state finalists and they go through multiple rounds till they are down to 10 national finalists, who take part in a demo day (early April), where 3 winners are selected.

Samsung taking a nice holistic approach to this contest. It is much more than a contest:

  • First the obvious, lot of big prize packages that include Samsung tech & classroom resources, for all state finalists and beyond.
  • Samsung employees will mentor the state winners & beyond
  • Samsung thinks of all the contests as family and has developed alumni programs to support their STEM journey beyond the contest year.

This is just a wonderful contest. Check out the winners page and how & what the winning teams have done. Good luck to all Pieneers!
